Heather E. Reszka Miller
Manager & Licensed Funeral Director
A native of Buffalo, New York, Heather graduated from Holy Angels Academy in 1998. She continued her education at SUNY Canton, earning an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science in 2002, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Funeral Services Administration in 2011.
Heather began her career at a family-owned funeral home in Longmont, Colorado, where she developed a strong commitment to providing families with compassionate, personalized service. Her attention to detail and dedication to meeting the unique needs of each family became the foundation of her approach to funeral service.
Following the birth of her first child, Heather returned to Buffalo, where she continued her career working with funeral homes in Buffalo and Syracuse. A subsequent move brought her back to Colorado, where she continued serving families throughout the Denver Metro area. In 2022, she relocated to North Carolina before eventually returning to Buffalo and, most recently, making her home in Elmira in December.
Throughout her career, Heather has remained dedicated to serving families with compassion, professionalism, and respect. She believes every family deserves to be heard and that every life deserves to be honored in a meaningful and dignified way.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and their two children, supporting them in their various activities and making family memories together. She also enjoys taking day trips to explore the sights, sounds, and unique communities throughout the area.
Once duly licensed he continued to grow and learn by serving with several other funeral homes in the Newburgh area, learning from some of the most well-known names in the business. Once the opportunity arose to have a place of his own, there was no hesitation when the building at 481 Gidney Ave. went up for sale. Hours of labor and love went into the beautiful building you see here today. Mike and his wife Linda live on the top floor of the funeral home where they raised their daughters Brittany & Stephanie. They are proud and honored to be able to serve the community in which they live, and they continually strive to serve with the utmost dignity and respect.
