William Kowalchik

William B. Kowalchik Elmira: Age 88, passed away, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Bill was born February 12, 1922 in Elmira, son of Anthony and Catherine (Segal) Kowalczyk. He was predeceased by wife Irene and brothers, Michael and Walter Kowalchik and sister Mary Chimileski. Bill is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a WW II veteran serving with the U.S. Navy and was a retired union carpenter. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas Cemetery on Legion Road in Elmira Heights NY.
