William Daino

William J. Daino Horseheads: Age 57, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012, with his family by his side, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Bill was born March 20, 1955, the son of Audrey Evans Daino of Binghamton and the late Mario Daino. He is also predeceased by his beloved daughter Allison and his brother-in-law Alan Lewis. In addition to his mother Bill is survived by his loving wife, and best friend, Linda Lewis Daino, with whom he celebrated 38 years of marriage this year; sons, with their families, Jeremy and Stephanie Daino, Apalachin, with daughters, Isabella and Leah; Michael and Stefanie Daino, Rochester; sister and brother-in-law, Anne and T. J. Tristan, Binghamton, with their son Matthew; and uncle Joseph Daino, Ithaca. Bill was a long time employee at Flickinger's. He was a loving husband and father and cherished "PaPa" to Bella and Leah, who were the light of his life. Bill will be forever loved and dearly missed. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. A private interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads.
