Wealtha Sullivan

Elmira: Age 87, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Wealtha was born in Elmira, a daughter of Myrta (Vandermark) & James A. Strope. Her husband Charles H. Sullivan, Jr. predeceased her July 27, 1998 and her daughter Eugenia Sullivan Beaudet predeceased her on May 22, 2007. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Grace and Lillian. Wealtha is survived by her children, and their families, Patricia & Robert Gage of Chevy Chase MD, with their children, Rachel (Henry) Olschofka and Charles Gage; Jeannie's daughters, Casey (Dennis) Rodrigues and Kyle (Dan Murray) Beaudet; Michael & Loretta "Lorrie" Sullivan of Marcy NY, with children, Brittany and Michael Sullivan; Monica & Robert Stadelmaier of Elmira; great grandsons, Dennis Rodrigues and Ryan Olschofka; along with several nieces and nephews. Wealtha was a 1948 graduate of Elmira Free Academy. She worked at Marine Midland Bank for 17 years as the Safety Deposit Attendant. Wealtha was a long time member of Westside United Methodist Church. A wonderful mother and grandmother she treasured her time with family. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:15 p.m. Interment, with committal prayers, will take place on Monday, November 30, 2015, 12:30 p.m., St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
