Timothy Nicolo

Age 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Tim was born in Elmira, son of the late John E. and Laura G. Keeney Nicolo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Karen Marinan Nicolo; children and their families, Tennille M. Nicolo with her daughter Gianna; Christopher J. Nicolo with Megan Hennessy and her daughter McKenzie; Andrew M. and Brandalyn Nicolo with their children, Hannah and Jaxon; Timothy J. and Cheyenne Nicolo with their son Jeremiah, all of Elmira; brothers, Michael Nicolo with wife Maureen, David Nicolo, John M. Nicolo, Mark Nicolo with Todd Riley; brothers-in-law, John Marinan with wife Laura, Michael Marinan with Mary Beth Rodgers; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. Tim worked as a barber with his father for many years. After they sold their shop, Tim went to work as a salesman and later as a territory manager in wholesale food sales. He later went back to the barber business and operated a barber shop on West Gray St. for nearly 10 years. Tim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Tim will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held there on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church.
