Tammy Hyde

Age 48 of Horseheads, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Tammy was born in Corning NY. She is predeceased by her father Ronald Vandermark. Tammy is survived by her mother Mary I. Vandermark of Elmira; siblings and their spouses, Kathy and Rick Beard of Elmira, Kevin Hyde of Corning, Lisa and Aaron Boynton of Elmira, Ronda and Greg Washburn of Corning, Holly and Steven Tyler of Elmira, Ron Vandermark with Rita Dennard of Elmira; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friend Robin Maywood and all the staff and residents at Able-2. Tammy was a warm and gracious person who always had a smile on her face. She loved life, enjoyed people and everyone loved her. Her favorite pastime was shopping. Tammy enjoyed, music, crafts, making necklaces and writing greeting cards for people at Able-2. For the last 3 years of her life Tammy was a resident of Able-2 and where she thrived with the interaction she had with staff and fellow residents. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St., on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. A time for sharing stories and remembrances will follow at 1:15 p.m. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads. Following the cemetery service there will be a continuation of the celebration of Tammy's life at the V.F.W. on Miller St. in Elmira.
