Shelby Bambury

Bluffton SC: age 71, passed away, after a long illness. Shelby was born in Austell GA a daughter of Harold and Estelle Rusk and grew up in Woodstock GA. She attended Reinhardt College and Georgia Southern University. Shelby married Edward "Pete" Bambury, in Atlanta GA, while Pete was in the Air Force. They lived in Elmira for a short time before moving to Waterville NY where Shelby was an Elementary Teacher. Shelby was an avid reader and loved to travel. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Pete; son Timothy; daughter Teresa Frahm; and 5 grandchildren. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, NY on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the calling hour, with interment to then take place at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
