Samuel Rundell

Was born on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Sam left this world 2 hours later to be in the hands of God and walk alongside his family members that have left before him, in a place where Trisomy 18 does not exist. Sam is predeceased by his grandmother Bonnie Davis; great-grandmother Eloise Brew; great aunts, Betty Borden and Shirley Sowersby, great-grandfathers, John "Dutch" Wilmot and Jack Fisher; and great-aunt Linette "Gert" Cook. Sam is survived by his parents Adam and Laura; sisters, Hannah and Madison Podgorny; brother Johnny; grandparents Jeff and Marianne Davis; grandparents Mike and Suzie Rundell; great-grandparents, Ken Brew, Gerald and Rosalyn Davis, Lucy Rundell and Kay Wilmot; aunts and uncles, Allie Rundell, Aaron and Nicole Davis, and cousin Alex Davis. Sam may have only been in our world for 2 hours, but he touched a lifetime's worth of hearts during his short stay with us. Sam's story truly brought family, friends, acquaintances and strangers together from near and far. Sam's tremendous impact on so many lives is a true testament that he is meant to serve a higher purpose in heaven. Family and friends are invited to Shumway Hill Cemetery in Wellsboro, PA on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. where Sam will be laid to rest alongside his Grandma Bonnie.
