Ruth Lawton

Ruth L. Lawton Passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Elcor Health Services. Ruth was born February 28, 1923 the daughter of Charles and Rebecca (Horton) Heaberlin. Her husband Richard Lawton predeceased her in 1991. She is also predeceased by grandson, Andy Lawton and by her 5 siblings. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Terry with husband James Wilson of Elmira; son, Richard Lawton of Bath, NY; daughter-in-law, Debbie Loucks of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Ted (Xan) Wilson with their children Lucy and Finn; Michele, Matt and Erica Wilson; Wendy, Tony, Mike, Chris and Kelly Lawton. Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed an occasional crossword puzzle. A devoted grandmother she enjoyed time well spent with her family. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Sts., on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 6:15 p.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport at the family's convenience.
