Rose Mcelligot

Rose A. (Spallone) McElligott Elmira: Age 89, passed away at her home, on Friday morning, August 12, 2011, with her family by her side. Rose was born November 10, 1921, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rosina (Spetaccino) Spallone. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Lena Maddalena and Grace Chiacchierini, brothers, Nicholas, Anthony, Philip, Vincent and Salvatore Spallone. Rose is survived by her husband Patrick McElligott; sister Molly Richardson, and brother Frank Spallone, she is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. According to Rose's wishes there will be no prior calling hours. Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. At a later date there will be a memorial mass in her memory. Those wishing may remember Rose with a donation to either Southern tier Hospice, 11751 E. Corning Road or a charity of one's choice.
