Robert Waite

Elmira: Age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Mark was born in Fayetteville NC, a son of Mary T. Waite of Elmira and the late Robert L. Waite. He was also predeceased by his wife Joyce Thompson Waite on May 20, 2015. In addition to his mother Mark is survived by daughter Andrea Tanner of Bentonville AR; son Brandon Waite of Fort Morgan CO; sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Pat Brady of Elmira; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Pamela Waite of Lowman, Jeffrey and Terry Waite of Big Flats; grandchildren, Elizabeth Tanner, Theresa and Jacob Waite; along with several nieces and nephews; and loyal canine companions, Franky and Joey. Mark was generous to family, friends and all who knew him. On a recent trip to the south east coast, with his co-pilots Franky and Joey, Mark enjoyed visiting with family and friends with a special stop to see daughter Andrea and granddaughter Elizabeth. Mark was a U S Army veteran and retired from the U S Postal Service. At his request private services will be held.
