Robert Liston

Age 56, passed away in Oklahoma City OK on February 4, 2017. Shane was born in Streator IL, December 27, 1960 and moved to Millport in 1967. He was the son of the late Edward "EZ" and Marlene Blue Liston. Shane is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lynda and Brandon Scholes of Utah with their children Hudson, Paisley and Benson; sisters, Shree Howell, Debbie Liston and Theresa Liston along with other loving family members. Shane was a graduate of Horseheads High School. He had served with both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. Shane has lived in various parts of the county throughout his life with the last 18 months being in Oklahoma City. He spent many years operating a successful electronics repair business. Shane had a passion for helping others, particularly those in the medical community. He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water St., Elmira on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. Military honors will follow the funeral service. Shane will be buried with his parents at St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery, Horseheads on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.
