Robert Carpenter, Jr.

Age 72, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, with his family by his side. Bob was born in Elmira the son of the late Shirley (Freese) and Robert W., Sr. Carpenter. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by grandson, Joseph Carpenter and brother, Richard Carpenter. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joyce VanBencoten Carpenter; sons, Shawn R. Carpenter of Pine City; Matthew E. Carpenter of Forestville NY with children, Nicholas, Ryan, Molly and Erica; sister, Sharon Mull of Elmira Heights; sister-in-law, Paula (Dan) Usack of Horseheads; brother-in-law, Joseph (Diane) VanBencoten of Asheboro NC; along with several nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held.
