Robert Charles Baldwin

Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2022, after a long illness. Bob was born in Grand Rapids MI a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Sherry) Baldwin. He is also predeceased by his brother Barry Baldwin. Bob is survived by his wife of forty-one years Joy Nickerson Baldwin; sister and brother-in-law Mary and Dale Warner; along with many nieces and nephews.

Bob graduated from Vestal High School, then received a degree in fine arts from Binghamton University. He served in the US Navy from 1965 – 1969. Bob retired from the Corning Incorporated Aviation Department where he served as an airplane Captain and Chief Pilot.

Bob was a multi-talented artist, guitarist and aviator. His love for aviation was a life-long passion. He was also an award winning artist whose depth of talent was appreciated by so many. He will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held. Bob's family asks that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E Henrietta Road, Rochester NY 14620, in his memory.
