Paul Clune

Age 72, of Dallas TX passed away August 1, 2013 in Dallas. Paul was born in Elmira on December 25, 1940, a son of the late Faustin J. and Ann (Dooley) Clune. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by twin brothers, John J. and Joseph F. Clune; brother-in-law David Wichtowski. Paul is survived by daughter Paula Noden with husband Todd McLaughlin of California; Paula's mother and Paul's former wife Kathy Clune of California; son Glenn Clune of Pennsylvania; sister Marianne Wichtowski of Elmira; grandchildren Connor, Kennedy and Kate Noden of California; nephew and niece, Michael (Melissa) Wichtowski and Michelle Wichtowski all of Elmira and Jason Clune of Florida; great nephew and great niece Andrew and Allyson Wichtowski of Elmira; special friend Dee Gilbert of Texas. Paul was a 1959 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He attended Corning Community College before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served in Vietnam. He worked for Corning Incorporated before pursuing his passion as a "true cowboy" and working as a rancher in Texas. Paul was buried on August 5, 2013, with full military honors, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Elmira. Local arrangements by McInerny Funeral Home.
