Patrick Mcelligott

Age 91, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Pat was born in Brooklyn NY, a son of John and Bridgid (McLoughlin) McElligott. He is predeceased by his wife Rose Spallone McElligott; brothers, John and James McElligott; sister Helen McElligott; nephew John Spallone, Sr. Pat is survived by his sisters-in-law, Helen Sullivan McElligott of Princeton NJ, Molly Richardson of Watkins Glen, Theresa E. Spallone of Victor NY; nieces and nephews, Rosemarie (Chuck) Franzese, Vincent J. Spallone, Jr., Barbara Mold, Christine McElligott, Howard Kaufman, Ellen McElligott, Peter Warwick; along with many other loving nieces and nephews. Pat served honorably in the U S Navy during WWII. He was a retired Correction Officer, with many years of service at the Elmira Correctional Facility. According to his wishes there will be no calling hours. Private family services will be held. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, 12:00 noon, at St. Patrick's Church, Elmira.
