Nellie Lewis

"Penny" Age 73, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Penny was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mable (Bowell) McMindes. She was also predeceased by her brother Gary McMindes. Penny is survived by her daughter Carole Y. Lewis with Wendell Spivey of Myrtle Beach SC; grandchildren, Michael Wheeler of Golden Glow NY, Felicia Franklin (Clinton Shaw) and Kyle Franklin both of Myrtle Beach SC; great grandchildren Kaylee and Isaiah Franklin, Aniyah and Iyannaa Shaw, Kyle Franklin, Jr. and Emma Rose Franklin; step grandson Cameren Crandall; niece Tina Crum (Leo Westbrook); several other nieces and nephews. Penny had worked at Convenient Food Mart on West Water Street for many years. Funeral services will be held at a future date to be announced.
