Age 64, formerly of Elmira NY, passed away, unexpectedley, Friday, December 4, 2015, in Hopewell Junction NY. Natalie was born in Elmira, a daughter of the late Dorothy (McCrone) and William Joseph Murphy. She is survived by her sister Janet Alicia Murphy of Corning; nieces, with their families, Asheley Stevens Clune with husband Michael and children, Katherine, Gavin, Meryn and Peyton; Alexia Stevens Bartholdi with husband Marc and children, Liam and Claire; nephew, Stuart James Stevens with wife Katherine and children, Keanan, Will and Hannah. Natalie was a 1969 graduate of Elmira Free Academy. She then went on to graduate from Nazareth College of Rochester with a degree in Political Science. She lived in Alexandria, VA 3 years and worked in Washington, DC. Prior to moving to Hopewell Junction, Natalie worked for United Way of Chemung County, then was Director of Human Resources for ABLE2 in Elmira. Natalie played golf in the ladies league at Willow Creek and enjoyed time at Keuka Lake. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment, with committal prayers, will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Natalie may be made to either Holy Family Catholic Schools, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira NY 14904, or Notre Dame High School, 1400 Maple Avenue, Elmira NY 14904.
