Michael Lynch

Elmira: Age 60, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mike was born and raised in Elmira, a son of the late James and Virginia (Heher) Lynch. He is survived by his wife Patricia Fitzgerald Lynch; children, Jim E., Amy E., Brittany M., Todd P. and Michaela C.; grandchildren, Sierra, Savannah, Katelyn and Alexander; siblings, Marcia (Charles) Erle, Gregory Lynch, Nancy (Thomas) Miller, Thomas (Mary) Lynch, Robert Lynch, Christina Porter, Marilyn Carpenter, and Julie (John) Bailey; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and good friends from the "Mudhunter's Club". Mike was a 1976 EFA graduate. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira. Interment, with committal prayers, will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
