Michael Haddad

Horseheads: Age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Michael was born December 26, 1926, a son of the late Peter and Naziera (Salem) Haddad. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Albert and Joseph, sisters, Eva and Mary, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Mollie Andrews. Michael is survived by his wife Elma Ramsdell Haddad of Horseheads; sister Semera Lynch; nephew Patrick (Vickie) Lynch; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sherolyn and Glen Falke, Edwin and Nancy Ramsdell; along with several nieces and nephews. Michael was a U S Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was the former owner of Wilson's Restaurant Equipment. Michael enjoyed the outdoors….down-hill skiing in the winter months and spending many years on Keuka Lake. He was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow. Military honors will be accorded at the conclusion of the service. Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
