Mary Youngman

Of Horseheads, formerly of Elmira Heights, passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Monday, November 14, 2016. Mary was the daughter of Morris, Sr. and Mary (Kingston) Shephard. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest E. Youngman, twin brother Leo Shepard, brothers, Morris Shepard, Jr. and John Shepard. Mary is survived by children, Ellen M. Youngman of Syracuse NY, Joan L. Barnes of Broadway VA, Elizabeth A. Riopko-Carter of Myrtle Beach SC, John M. Youngman with wife Theresa of Elmira, Marie T. Simmons with husband Jimmy of Greenwood SC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mary was a secretary for many years with the Sheet Metal Workers Local 112. Private family services were held with Mary's burial taking place at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Those wishing may honor Mary with a donation to a charity of one's choice.
