Mary was a graduate of Elmira Catholic High School in 1943, enjoying the friendship of several of her classmates. Prior to her marriage she was employed at Ward LaFrance and Edgecomb’s Furniture. In later years she worked at St. Casimir’s Church, where she was the secretary. As her boys were growing up, she was active in the Cub Scouts as a den mother. Mary loved to entertain and hosted almost all holiday gatherings. No visitor left the house hungry as there were always plenty of homemade goodies to pass around! Mary also enjoyed a good game of Scrabble, Pinochle, Bridge or Rummy, with family or friends. And you never saw her without a smile on her face!
