Mary Lou Williams

Horseheads: Age 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Mary Lou was born in Wilkes Barre PA a daughter of Joseph and Helen (Brusock) Ruseskas. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert R. Williams. Mary Lou is survived by her children, with their spouses, Jay and Mary Lou Williams of Pine City, Suzanne and Tom Morrissey of Elmira, Kathleen Kennis of Horseheads, Cindi and Bryce Cuyle of Dundee, Herbert and Kelly Williams of Lindley; sister Rosalie Hoffman of Kingston PA; sister-in-law Nancy Hendershot of Horseheads; twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was a long-time employee of P&C Supermarket, Southport Plaza. Her interests in life were her family and church. Mary Lou was a long-time communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Lou on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira. All are invited. A livestream of the Mass will be available through the Facebook page for Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish (https://www.facebook.com/ElmiraCatholic). Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
