Mary E. Morgan

Age 88, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Bethany Manor, Horseheads. Mary was born and raised in Elmira, a daughter of Charles J. and Frances (Mathew) Fahs. She is predeceased by her 1st husband Donald L. Hickok and her second husband LaVerne Morgan, daughter Diane Norton, sister Madeline C. Kelly, and brothers, Joseph and Charles "Eddie" Fahs. Mary is survived by her daughters and their families, Marilyn and Jay Quick of Madera CA with children, Stephen, Jayson (Luen) and Juliana; Janice and Patrick Kelly of Kintnersville PA with children, Megan and Trevor (Maryellen); son-in-law William Norton of Fairfax VA with children, Ryan (Carly), Ben and Tim; sister-in-law Marie Fahs of St. Louis MO; five great grandchildren; special niece Kathy (Gordon) Mosher of Horseheads; special nephew Art (Anne) Field of Big Flats; special neighbors Steve and Judy Lovell of Big Flats; many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary on Thursday, May 11, 2017, 9:30 a.m., St. Mary's Church, Elmira. Interment, with committal prayers, will follow at Beech Flats Cemetery, Canton PA.
