Mark L. Waters, Sr.

Age 59, of Elmira, died unexpectedly, on Tuesday, October 3,2023. Mark was born in Elmira, a son of the late James and Mary Lou (Tunnicliff) Waters. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Mary Waters. Mark is survived by his children and their families, daughter and son-in-law Nicole and David Johnson and their children, Julissa, Jahmeek, Amari and Alecia; daughter Elizabeth Waters and her children, Zavianna, Eil and Raymond; son Mark Waters Jr., and his children, Mark, Brielle and Carmon; sisters and brother-in-law, Audra Waters with Al Vanskiver, Wendy and Tim Walker; brother Mike Waters; former wife Katrina Waters; step-children, Karissa (James) Mowry and their children, Emilia, Jace, and Jaxson, William Hildebrand and his children, Kinsley, Penelope, and Lucifer; many nieces, nephews, cousins. Mark worked for Thomas and Betts Corps for many years. He liked being outside and mowing his lawn. Mark was a diehard NY Jets fan.
