Margaret Haupt

Age 92 of Elmira, passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Peg was born in Elmira, daughter of Clarence S. and Mary Morgan Brown. She was predeceased by her husband Roswell D. Haupt; sisters, Mary Warmbein and Frances Reagan; brothers, Clarence Jr., Daniel, and Joseph Lester Brown. Peg is survived by her children with their spouses, Richard and Olivia Haupt of Tucson AZ, Gary and Karen Haupt of Louisville KY, Gail and Robert Hicks of Elmira, Daniel and Mary Haupt of Elmira, Michael and Dawn Haupt of Pine City, Virginia and Peter Pringle of Jamestown NY, Stephen and Sandy Haupt of Webster NY, Nancy Haupt of Horseheads, David Haupt with fiancée Sue Radden of Forest Lake MN, Mary Beth and Christopher VanGorder of Van Etten NY; brother and sister-in-law Morgan and Beverly Brown of Endwell NY; 25 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Peg was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. At Peg's request private family services will be held.
