Lucy M. Booth

February 1, 1936 — December 12, 2021

Elmira: Age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She is now and forever with her Lord, Jesus Christ. Lucy worked for and retired from the NYC Parks Department on Staten Island NY. She had a zest for life, was a hard worker, bold, witty and independent. Lucy was feisty, strong willed, caring and giving. She was blessed with the ability to see the beauty in almost everything. Lucy loved to cook, shop, watch old movies and do adult coloring. But mostly she loved giving gifts, knowing the joy others received from them. Her sister, Anna will be forever grateful for the confidence and trust that Lucy instilled in her. It meant so much and will be missed. Lucy's eldest daughter Linda will remember her mom for always being there for her. She will forever and always be in her heart…."I love and miss you, mom." Lucy's younger daughter Laura will remember her mom as an amazing woman who will be forever loved and missed. Lucy's grandchildren want her to know they are all so thankful for her, and she will always be fondly remembered for her candy bowls, tea-time, generous heart and sweet little smile. Lucy is survived by her spouse Robert Chapman; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Anthony Migliarese, Laura and Paolo Modera; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother Frank; and sister Anna. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Booth; siblings, twin sister Jean, Jerry, Thomas; parents Evelyn and Angelo Ricciardone. Private services will be held.
