Lisa W. (Berger) Lewis

Age 96 left this world on April 2, 2024, to be reunited with her husband George who predeceased her on May 12, 1999. Lisa is also predeceased by her parents, sister, and brother, who all lived in Munich, Germany.

Lisa was born and educated in Germany. She came to this country in 1947 to be married to George, whom she met while he served in the U S Army during World War II. Lisa leaves behind her son Ronald with wife Pat and three grandchildren, Mark Lewis (Leah), Sarah DiLorenzo (Jesse), Matthew Lewis; three great-grandchildren, Luke and Isabella DiLorenzo, and Noah Lewis. She also leaves behind many friends she has had the privilege to know through the years, and who have helped her through difficult times.

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W Water Street, Elmira, on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment, with committal prayers, will then take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
