Lea Sidari, 35, of Elmira, passed away February 27, 2026 with her loving mother by her side.

She was born July 18, 1990 in Elmira, NY the youngest daughter of Vincent and Kelly (Silvia) Sidari.

Lea attended Horseheads schools, graduating from Horseheads High School. She later received her Licensed Massage Therapist degree from Finger Lakes School of Massage.

Lea was a successful massage therapist for several years before joining her father at Vincenzo's Pizzeria. She rose through the ranks and became his right hand woman. She was his best PR and took care of all of the operational issues so he could focus on what he did best: making pizza.

In her spare time, Lea was not one to relax. She loved writing and the family cherished her many stories and poems that she shared with them. Ever the free spirit, she also enjoyed family time with her niece, Violet and her cat, Sweetie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Salvatore and Maria Vincenza Sidari and Rose and Peter Silvia and her uncle Mark Silvia.

In addition to her parents, Lea is survived by her sister, Sara (Steve) Burns; her niece, Violet Corter; her nephew, Jacob Burns and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family in both Italy and the United States, friends and her family at Vincenzo's Pizzeria.

Family and friends are invited to St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place in Elmira on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10am-12pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12Noon. Private Inurnment will take place at a later time at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
