Kyle Alexander Steers

Age 27, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 after a long struggle with substance abuse. Kyle was born in Elmira NY, a son of Mary Ann Schmidt Steers and David A. Steers. In addition to his parents Kyle is survived by his sister Samantha Steers with her fiancé Michael Cummings; twin brother Kristopher Steers; special friend Ryan Caballes; many aunts, uncles and cousins.


Kyle grew up in Horseheads. He was a kind, caring and loving person. Kyle enjoyed gardening, art and cooking. He had a special love for animals, especially his dog Truffles.


Private family services will be held. Those wishing may remember Kyle with a donation to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, 388 Upper Oakwood Ave., Elmira NY 14903.
