Kira, age 56, formerly of Elmira NY, passed away at the Pittsburgh Medical Center in Altoona PA on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026. Kira, the daughter of John and Catherine (Frawley) Carpenter, was born on February 1, 1970. She is predeceased by her mother, and sister Kristen. Kira was a 1988 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She then attended Mitchell College in New London, CT. Kira had been living in Everett PA with her significant other, Chuck Croyl, since 2014. Kira leaves behind her dad, aunts, uncles, along with several cousins. There will be no calling hours. A private burial will take place at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery in Elmira.
