Kevin Eugene Hill, 56, of Elmira Heights, formerly Dryden, NY, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2026.

He was born on January 25, 1970 in Teaneck, NJ, the youngest of six children born to the late Thomas and Linda (Nolan) Hill.

Kevin grew up in Washington Township, NJ and attended Westwood High School.

Over his lifetime, Kevin held various positions at group homes. His last position was as a Residence Aide at the Franziska Racker Center in Ithaca, NY.

In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed a good meal and drink, listening to music, going to concerts, watching classic movies and walking. Above all, Kevin enjoyed all of the time that he spent visiting with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Kevin is predeceased by his brother, Thomas Hill Jr. and his sister, Linda (Hill) Orlando.

He is survived by his brother, John Hill and William Hill (Lynda) and his sister, Mary Ellen (Hill) Peal (Thomas); brother-in-law, Francis Orlando; nieces and nephews, Lee Peal (Hannah), Caitlyn Peal, Francesca Hill, Julia Marie Hill, Nolan Hill, Thomas Hill and Aidan Hill and also survived by extended family and many friends.

Friends and family are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St. Elmira on Thursday, March 12, 2026 for a celebration of Kevin's life from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin's name to Villa Serene Apartments, 399 E. 14th Ave. Ste. 1220 Elmira Heights, NY 14903 or to The Franiszka Racker Center, 3226 Wilkins Rd.
