Julie Sullivan Allard

Julie Sullivan Allard, age 73 passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, with her loving daughters by her side. Julie was born in Newport, RI, daughter of the late John J. and Josephine McNulty Sulivan. She is predeceased by her parents, and her brothers, Michael, Peter and Paul Sullivan. She is survived by her daughters and sons and daughter-in-law, Nicole and Cris McGough of Arkadelphia, AR with their children Caitlyn and Halle; Colleen Allard and Maia Theophanis of Falmouth, MA with their children Bellamy, Harper, Beckett, Ellis and Bear; Monica and Craig Ridosh of Elmira, NY with their children Hadley and Delaney; siblings and their spouses, Mary Jo and Jim Korreck, Mark and Jackie Sullivan, Diane Sullivan, Vicki Sullivan, Monica and Peter Dawson, Rosemary Sullivan, Bridget and Don Burris, Marian and Dan Jurusik, John Sullivan, and David and Nancy Sullivan; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Julie spent her career in retail, managing various department stores. Her greatest joy was her role as Mimi and spending time with her grandkids. Julie was an avid reader and enjoyed walks with family and friends. In retirement, Julie enjoyed tending to her flowers, traveling to visit family and trips to Tioga Downs with family and friends. 

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, NY on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that Julie be remembered through memorial donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, P O Box 5014, Hagerstown MD 21741 or your local library.
