Judith "Judy" Eleanor (Walker) Liskovec

Judith “Judy” Eleanor (Walker) Liskovec Age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Judy was born in Corning, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Whiteman) Walker. Judy attended Catholic High and graduated with the first class of Notre Dame High School in 1956. She was employed by several area businesses including the New York Telephone Company, Dean Witter, LeValley McLeod, and most recently, Swift Glass. Judy met life’s challenges with strength and faith. Her generous spirit and infectious smile warmed all those around her. She indeed attracted many loyal and lifelong friends. Surviving is her loving family; daughters, Lisa Cicconi (Tony), and Lori Liskovec (Paul Kingsbury); grandchildren, Jeffrey Cary, Travis Cary (Amanda), Jan Cicconi, J. Anthony Cicconi (Sohaani) and Leonardo Cicconi (Kiara Cogar) and her great grandchildren, Savannah and Michael Cary. She is also survived by son-in-law Donald Cary, sister Ellen (Thomas) Parry along with many special friends, nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her precious children, Joseph “Joey” Liskovec and Linda Cary; brother Thomas Walker (Patricia), and former husband Joseph Liskovec. Our family will be forever thankful for the loving, compassionate care, friendship and support from Hanna Foster, NP, as well as numerous other caretakers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10 a.m.   Interment, with committal prayers, will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
