Bradenton, FL: Age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Bradenton, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Nisco was born March 17, 1926, a son of Ignazio and Egilda Nisco. He is predeceased by his daughter Virginia Roe, brother Amadio "Butch" Nisco, sisters, Mari Murdock and Rose D'Abbracci. He is survived by his wife Betty J. Nisco, Lake Isabella CA; daughter Donna Place, Bradenton FL; brothers, Miliano Nisco, Fairport NY, Frank Nisco, Vineland NJ; sister Carmella; stepsons, Harry Forker and Jerry Forker; grandchildren, Kelli Egnaczak, Kimberly Roe, Anthony Roe, Jr.; great grandchildren, Stephanie Resanovich, Taylor Burns, Michael Burns, Cloe Egnaczak; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Nisco was a well-known, life-long resident of the Elmira area. He was employed as a machinist at Hilliard Corp. until his retirement. Serving his country during WWII he was a Staff Sergeant in the U S Army. Mr. Nisco was in the European Theatre of Operations during the war and also the Army of Occupation in Germany after the war ended. An avid bowler, he was a member of the Elmira Bowling Hall of Fame. Private services will be held.
