John F. Palmer "Johnny" Age 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends, at his home at Able2 in Horseheads, NY on Monday, March 10, 2014. John was born in Far Rockaway, NY, son of Joseph and Helen Morris Palmer. In addition to his parent's Johnny is predeceased by 6 sisters. Johnny leaves behind his sisters Pat and Eleanor, niece, Janet Mirabito, of East Meadow, NY and many close friends at Able2. Johnny was a quiet man, but he didn't go unheard. Johnny enjoyed the company of his friends, being outside and his frequent coffee breaks. Johnny will never be forgotten, but will always be missed. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Johnny's funeral service will take place at 3:15 p.m. Interment will be in St Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
