Jhantteil Fletcher

Age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Jhan is survived by her parents, Norma Iris Serrano-Roche and Julio Cesar Perez-Matos; four sons, Miguel Torres Jr., Dandre Samani Jace Fletcher, Tristen Jaiden Isaiah Fletcher, and Jhayden John Luke Fletcher; siblings, Jessica Perez, Shasmarie O’Neal (Kareem), Sheila Perez-Rodriguez (Jayson), Julio Perez Jr., Brian Serrano (Yesenia) and Belitza Perez. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jhan was born and raised in Manhattan. From NY she moved to Chicago where she lived for 6 years before moving to Florida where she lived for nearly 15 years. She then moved to the Elmira area two years ago to be close to family. Jhan was a very spiritual person. She had a great love for music. Jhan was always a very happy “sassy” person with a smile on her face. She always had the love to give no matter who you were, always seeing the good in others, staying true to herself. A devoted mother, sister and aunt, she lived for her family, especially her four boys, who meant the world to her. Jhantteil left us all way too soon, and with a broken heart, but she will always be remembered and loved.

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St, Elmira, on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
