Jeffrey Lynn Cacala

Jeffrey Lynn Cacala, aged 63, passed away on January 25, 2025, in Elmira, NY. Born on May 12, 1961, Jeff was known for his compassionate nature, a contagious smile, and offering endless hugs. Always marching to the beat of his own drum, Jeff humorously dubbed himself as "the crash-test dummy," reflecting his light-hearted approach to life's challenges.

Jeff graduated from Elmira Free Academy and carried his love for music and passion for riding bicycles throughout his life. He was the beloved brother of James Cacala (Sabian) and John Jay Cacala (Cody, Casey, Caden, and children), who will cherish his memory along with numerous cousins, friends and community members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, Virginia Ingalls, and his father, Jack Cacala.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W Water Street, Elmira, 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., followed by a short funeral service at 6:00 p.m..
