Jeannette Raatz

"Jean" Age 74, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Absolute Care of Three Rivers, Painted Post. Jean was born in Mt. Storm, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Fielding and Elizabeth (Shrout) Kyer. She is predeceased by her brother, Gerald Kyer and grandson, Tayler Elmore. Jean is survived by her children, Robin Gergel, Rhonda D'Urso, Belinda (Greg) Elmore, Terri (Brett) Shilling and Eric (Amanda) Raatz; grandchildren, Eric Gergel, Brian Elmore, Hudson Raatz, and great grandchild, Cecily Rose; sisters, Brenda Morgan, Joyce Ramsey and brother Charles Kyer. Jean's job in life was being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that she met. She loved reading and had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior. Her wit and humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water Street, Elmira, on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m.
