Jean Davidson

Elmira: Age 89, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, April 14, 2014. Jean was born in Elmira on March 27, 1925, a daughter of Arthur C. and Doris M. (Hollander) Lewis. She was predeceased by her husband M. Bates Davidson and sister Joyce Eileen Lewis. Jean is survived by daughter Karen L. Davidson (Marc Baroni) of Cranston RI; son and daughter-in-law, Scott B. and Lori Davidson of Elmira. Jean was a woman of strength, humor and resolute, but gentle, common sense. She cared about everyone and found joy in the little things. Hers' was a life well lived. Friends are invited to Grace Episcopal Church, 375 W. Church Street, Elmira, on Thursday, April 17, 2014 where the Burial Office will be read at 11:00 a.m. Donations in Jean's memory may be directed to Grace Episcopal Church or the Chemung County SPCA, Route 352, Elmira NY 14903.
