Helen Watts

Helen E. Watts Rock Hill, SC: Age 93, formerly of Elmira, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012. Helen was born July 27, 1919, in Elmira, the daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Crane) Storch. She is predeceased by her husband Leon L. Watts and son David L. Watts. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dale A. and Barbara Watts of Tega Cay, SC; grandchildren, Michael A. Watts, Kelly M. (Brett) Hawley, Megan A. Watts, Richard G. August, Michael P. August; great-grandchildren, Hunter M. Watts, Carson J. Hawley, Coleton D. Hawley and Leila S. August. Helen worked as the head cashier at The Market Place on Langdon Plaza for many years. She later provided child care for nearly 20 years. Helen moved to South Carolina 10 years ago to be with her family. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira on Thursday, January 3, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
