Geraldine Salmon

Geraldine T. Salmon Elmira: Age 85, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her home. Geraldine was born November 16, 1927, in Elmira, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Sullivan) Finnell. She is predeceased by her husband Robert W. Salmon and sister Eleanor Begley. Geraldine is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet S. and Joseph Crowley, Hornell NY, Carol A. and Paul Gizzi, Fairport NY, Kathleen L. and Edward Coons, Chili NY; grandchildren, Susan (Randy) Harkenrider, Robert (Tracy) Crowley, Stephen (Yvonne) Crowley, Kathleen Crowley, Matthew Gizzi; great-grandchildren, Leah, Samantha and Ryan Harkenrider, Mia and Kirra Crowley; special niece Mary Ann (Paul) Baker; along with several other nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Interment, with committal prayers, will then take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Geraldine's family would like to thank Kate Hembrooke and her team from Care First, for the wonderful care given to Geraldine.
