Gerald T. Hosey

82 Years old, lifelong resident of Elmira, NY passed away December 13, 2020 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents James T. Hosey and Rose C. (Marchinock) Hosey. Gerald was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy. He served in the US Army where he acquired excellent administrative skills. Jerry was later employed in the Accounting Department at Kennedy Valve Mfg. in Elmira NY and retired after an extended length of service. Jerry had many good friends around town including his breakfast group and those at his home at the Mark Twain Apartments. He cared for his Aunts May and Geraldine Hosey for many years and was a dedicated correspondent with his relatives and friends. He was an avid reader and enjoyed a quiet life. Gerald will be privately interred in his family plot at St Peter and Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the Parish of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, 1010 Davis St. Elmira, NY 14901 where he was a lifelong parishioner.
