George Hill

Age 66, Pine City, N Y., passed away Thursday morning, October 29, 2015, at home unexpectedly. George was born June 30, 1949, in Elmira, NY son of the late Hugh and Dorothy Clinton Hill. In addition to his parents George was predeceased by his step mother, Mary Hill and brother-in-law, Thomas M. Mike. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Wheaton Hill; his children, daughter, Jennifer Hill of Elmira with her son, Tyrrell, Brad Hill of Elmira with his children, Gavin, Jackson, Julia and their mother, Megan (Fabrizio)Hill; brother, Henry Hill, step-brothers, Dick, Ron(Judy), Don(Patty) Owens; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws, Vickie Mike, Nick (Barbara) Wheaton, and Tim (Sandy) Wheaton; numerous, nieces nephews and friends. George served his country honorably with the US Army. He enjoyed his retirement years, spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and his many friends. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water Street, Elmira, NY, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. A funeral service to follow.
