Age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Gary was born in Warren PA, a son of the late Robert E. and Millicent Davidson Geiger. He is survived by his wife Deb Wilson Geiger; daughters and sons-in-law, Hillary and Justin Evert with their children, John, Dietrich, Grace, and Faith Evert …. Janine and Nate Shinagawa with son Stokely; brothers and sisters-in-law, Grant and Emily Geiger, Gregory and Ruth Geiger; sister Melissa Walsh; grandchildren, Tayia and Colin; former wife and friend Norma Carl; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Beth and Bob Darmstadt, Diane and Tom Booth, Kristen Wilson, Terry Wilson, Meg and Tony Denicola; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary is predeceased by Deb’s son Jason Janowsky; brothers-in-law, Patrick Walsh, Jerry, Tom, and Jim Wilson.
Gary was a retired New York State Parole Officer. He was a very giving and unselfish person. He volunteered to drive for the Department of Veteran’s Affair and was a member of the Elmira American Legion Post #443. Gary was a loving and caring husband, a good father and grandfather.
Family and friends are invited to call at McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W.
