Francis P. “Frank” Kraft

Age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Barton NY a son of Francis and Elizabeth (LaDue) Kraft. He is predeceased by his wife of 59 years Jeanne DeRigge Kraft.

Frank is survived by daughter Celeste Kraft of Elmira; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Michael Murray of Pine City with their sons, Mitchell and Matthew; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carole Mann of Glenville NY, Ty DeRigge of Elmira, Frank and Dawn DeRigge of Elmira; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Frank was a U S Marine Corps veteran. He was a long-time employee of Kennedy Valve, retiring as a supervisor. He was an avid golfer, and bowler having several 300 games and was inducted into the Elmira Bowling Hall of Fame. Along with his wife Jeanne, Frank loved spending time with family and friends at Keuka Lake.

Frank’s services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira. Visitation with Frank’s family will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment, with committal prayers and military honors, will then take place at Fitzsimmons Cemetery.
