Frances Tunis

Frances Knott Tunis Elmira: Age 90, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Frances was born in Elmira on August 21, 1921 daughter of Edward and Victoria (Grabowski) Knott. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Tunis; siblings, Bill Knott, Ruth Kiernan, Victoria Cogswell, Clair Knott and Anna Mary Comstock. Frances is surviced by son and daughter-in-law, Robert T. and Sandra Tunis of Sudbury MA; daughter Victoria R. Lowery of Elmira; grandchildren Cortney, Bradley and timothy Tunis of Massachusetts and Elizabeth Lowery of New York City. Also Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Frances worked at the Remington Rand, and later at the Sirloin Room for many years. Private family services will be held. Donations in memory of Frances may be made to a charity of one's choice.
