Frances M. Baker

Age 99, just short of her 100th birthday, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. Born to Leon and Doro (Pazydryga) Valego. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley A. Baker, daughter Kathleen Meehan and stepdaughter, Dawnie Leszyk. Frances is survived by her sister Margaret Kochanevich, daughters and sons-law, Joanie and Paul Collin of Horseheads…. Patty and Tony Murray of Elmira. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frances worked at the Eclipse for many years. Even with her scoliosis, she was a very strong woman. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Elmira.

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St. Elmira, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Her funeral service will follow at 5:15 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
