Floyd Cole

Floyd L. "Jim" Cole Elmira: Age 75, died at his home, with his family by his side, on Thursday, November 11, 2011. Jim was born February 26, 1935, a son of the late Carl E. and Helen (Stafford) Cole. He is survived by his wife Patricia Rabenold Cole; children, Helen C. Robertson, with husband Sage of Howardsville, VA, James L. Cole of Key West, FL, Elizabeth A. Hill of Horseheads, and Mary I. Cole of Elmira; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Phyllis Hargrove of Canandaigua, NY; brothers and sister-in-law, Lauren and Ethel Cole of Waterloo, NY, William Cole of Payson, AZ; along with several nieces and nephews. Jim was a retired Elementary Teacher, having worked for the Elmira City School District for many years. For over 50 years he was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
