Elizabeth J. Triano

Age 84, passed away peacefully at the Robert Packer Hospital on Monday, March 8, 2021. Elizabeth was born in Shavertown PA, daughter to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Phillips Brennan. She was also predeceased by her husband Paul R. Triano and brother Joseph Brennan. Elizabeth is survived by her children and their spouses, Theresa and Robert Furman of Chesapeake VA, Michael and Julie Triano of Larson WI, Elizabeth and David Mosher of Horseheads, Mary and Thomas Costello of Horseheads; grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Beaver, Jeremiah "Jay" (Holly) Horton, Michael Paul Horton (Brittnay-Dawn Koscho), Bryant Furman, Alyssa Triano (Chad LeCapitaine), Patricia "Trista" Mosher, Sean (Shelly) Costello, Joel Costello; sister Beverly Brown of Rochester; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Liz was a licensed cosmetologist who started her career out of her home. She enjoyed sharing her talents and skills with her students as an instructor at Pauldine's School of Beauty Culture. She was also co-owner of Designing Partners before retiring in 2005. Liz had the opportunity to travel to Ireland twice, which continued to be one of her greatest memories. She loved her children, her dogs, her friends and would never pass up the opportunity to have a cup of coffee and good conversation. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Our Mother Church, 816 W. Broad Street, Horseheads, at 12:00 noon, Monday, March 15, 2021. Committal prayers and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The Triano family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Bethany Community Home Care and Absolut Care at Three Rivers for the love and support given to Elizabeth over the last several months.
